Finding your Cyprus property
Once you have a shortlist, try to view each property and neighbourhood at different times of day. Think about the journeys you’ll make regularly, how much maintenance you want to take on and the total cost of buying rather than the asking price alone.
British citizens are treated as non-EU nationals for Cyprus property-purchase rules. Cyprus’s Ministry of the Interior states that non-EU foreign nationals wishing to acquire immovable property need permission from the relevant District Administration. Your lawyer can advise you on how this applies to your purchase.
