We are blessed with the fantastic Almazara (olive oil press) and honey is available to buy direct or in the local stores. Wednesday is the bustling market day, when you have the opportunity to enjoy Churros. All the village come to stock up on their weekly veggies and fruit. It s a great opportunity to just sit in the central plaza and enjoy some sun over coffee and of course churros! We have some wonderful tapas bars here in the village, La Tasca, La Cueva and Los Chiveros; the Argentinian who serve pizzas to take away also.

Excellent desination restaurants are within a 15 minute drive; La Montaña and El Albar! In the summer months the outdoor pool is a lovely place to while away the day alongside the pine trees and soft grass. The tapas here are served from 12:00 noon and entrance to the pool all day is just 2! Further afield you can stock up from the larger supermarkets, but pretty much is available here on our doorstep. Almeria airport is under an hours drive, Murcia 1 1/2 hours and Alicante 2 hours away. The apartment is on mains electric and water and wifi is possible!
