The União de Freguesias de Mogadouro has attached to it the villages of Valverde, Vale de Porco, Vilar do Rei, Zava and Figueira, the latter two right in the mountains of the same name, which are also known as the "Picos de Mogadouro". Distance from Mogadouro to Valverde: 11km Valverde: A kilometre and a half to the north-west of the village of Castelo Branco, in the municipality of Mogadouro, in the place called Cabeço dos Mouros, where coins and various antiquities have turned up, soon rendered useless by the insane, but enough to show that there was an archaic settlement there, is the Chapel of N. S. de Vila Velha. S. de Vila Velha, as the locals call it, is located there. It is a shrine of some renown that may have Christianised the mines of the Luso-Roman settlement there, judging by the booty found. House: - A dwelling in the village of Valverde - União de Freguesias de Mogadouro, Valverde, Vale de Porco, Vilar do Rei, located on the main artery of the village. - This house has several storage rooms attached to the house, a garage, utility room, space for a regional kitchen...
