The directors of La Résidence are husband and wife team Dominic and Rebecca Hilton. They live, with their 2 young daughters, on Dartmoor, in the South West of the UK. They’ve always worked together, having met in their previous careers as organisers of Polar expeditions. They’ve ditched the balaclavas for berets (sorry) and find that trips to France are, on the whole, simpler to organise than those to the Canadian Arctic. Dominic has been the sales director at the business for 8 years now. Dominic spent much of his childhood in France and has worked and studied in Toulouse, Lille and Bordeaux. He has a degree in French and Italian. Rebecca is also a Francophile having spent many years as a ski instructor in the French Alps. The good life beckons! With 7 acres of land, orchards, paddocks, barns and mature trees, this house has been a much loved home for the same family for the last 35 years. Whilst the farmhouse would benefit from modernisation, it is a wonderful, bucolic spot in the Normandy countryside.Whilst a new heating system and perhaps a kitchen upgrade may be fairly high on the list for the new owners, there is so much potential here for the new owners to put their own stamp on it and create a really lovely home.
