Apartment in Caldonazzo
Caldonazzo, Trento
We are in Trentino, specifically in beautiful Valsugana, where one cannot help but notice among the foliage of the trees two limpid bodies of water, the lakes of Caldonazzo and Levico. But let us dwell on Lake Caldonazzo a short distance from our apartment. We are in an optimal climatic zone that gives the waters of the lake ideal temperatures for bathing from May to the end of September; after all, it is one of the warmest lakes in Europe. In addition to this special feature, you should know that there are free beaches and equipped bathing establishments on its shores. In fact, the lake is ideal for practicing various sports such as sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, rowing, and water skiing. Those who enjoy fishing will also find a wide variety of fish such as trout, rudd, carp, sun perch and tench. Now, however, we head into the historic center of town, on one of Caldonazzo's main streets, where on the 1st floor of a quaint historic house is our recently renovated apartment. It is accessed by climbing a first flight of stairs, from a small terrace that receives the afternoon sun.We enter directly into the kitchen, where there is no lack of a chimney for the installation of a practical economical stove, great for cooking chestnuts in the fall and for natural heat. We continue into the modestly sized living room, which if desired can also become a second room for those who need extra sleeping accommodations. You will be kissed by the sun as you wake up in the morning. The master bedroom, like the living room boasts a beautiful east-facing window and the size is made more generous by a practical walk-in closet. Very nice and elegant bathroom with the large shower stall and window. Completes the property a large and windowed cellar on the ground floor, in which is also located the boiler for the independent heating of the apartment. Everything redone with good taste, attention to the quality of materials and without unpleasant condominium expenses. You just have to order the kitchen and move into this beautiful and cozy nest.
Apartment in Riva del Garda
Riva del Garda, Trento
It is in the morning that the spring sun peeps into our white living room, gently kissing the diagonal wall and creating a triangle of golden light. Riva del Garda is an enchanted place, a place of the senses, where chic blends with the antique, where mountains brush against the lake and dreams embrace reality. Here, those with a palate for style will find their oasis, between Trentino's Valle dei Laghi, Lombardy and the Veronese region, where the lake dances with the Alps and the snow caresses the olive trees. And it is precisely in this setting that an ineffable call emerges for a dwelling that becomes a sanctuary of the soul, a refuge where authenticity reigns supreme: the interiors of this flat, capable of whetting the appetite of the most refined senses, are a brilliant blend of Parisian style and contemporary aesthetics, enriched by French finishes that verge on the work of art. But talking about the constitution of the property, the dwelling offers four distinct spaces, three of which embrace the quietness of the bedrooms, while one opens up to the fervour of daily life, welcoming the living area to which, to enrich the comfort, are added two bathrooms that offer intimacy and practicality. However, the real jewel is the terrace, overlooking the small harbour and the fortress, an authentic treasure chest of beauty and serenity, which lends an inestimable value to this penthouse in the heart of the old village, amidst charming Habsburg palaces and medieval battlements. In an urban context where open spaces are rare, this precious extension offers a haven of rare beauty and peace to be enjoyed both during the day and at night in a romantic candlelit dinner. The finishes, as expected, are of a high standard, wooden floors dominate in all the rooms while the custom-designed furnishings fit perfectly into the various spaces. Also not to be missed are the parking space located in the basement and a generous wine cellar that thoughtfully houses the skis for the winter and the mountain bikes, ready to explore the majesty of the Valle dei Laghi and Alto Garda. Whether our main residence, a holiday retreat or an investment, this property presents itself as a golden opportunity in terms of economic return. With its three bedrooms in the heart of the town and an outdoor space, the prospects are promising. Should our desires change, it reassures us to know that we have invested in something of value, easily resaleable or leasable, in keeping with our heritage and financial goals. In a natural and historical paradise, this wonderful flat will become your living retreat with a unique view of Lake Garda.
Apartment in Besenello
Besenello, Trento
In the lush Vallagarina valley lies Besenello, on the left bank of the Adige River. For those familiar with the valley, Besenello is especially known for its marvelous castle, Castel Beseno, the largest fortress in Trentino. It entirely occupies the hilltop overlooking the town. Splendid by day, this fortified site takes on an air of magic and mystery at night, when illuminated, it appears like a ship floating suspended in the darkness. Thanks to its strategic geographic position, Besenello enjoys a particularly mild climate. Nestled in a natural amphitheater formed by the surrounding mountains, it is shielded from the winds that traverse the valley and warmed by the sun that shines on the surrounding cultivated fields, primarily vineyards. Besenello offers numerous opportunities for hiking and mountain biking, catering to both seasoned adventurers who can reach the surrounding peaks or Lake Garda, and those who prefer peaceful, flat walks. In this picturesque setting is a three-room apartment located on the second and top floor of a typical village house in the historic district. Renovated about ten years ago in keeping with local tradition, it is a splendid duplex with independent heating. On the second floor, you’ll find the living area with a fully furnished kitchen and a living room, featuring two wooden balconies characteristic of Trentino architecture. The two bedrooms are located in the attic, accessible via a bright internal staircase, adorned with beautiful exposed wooden ceilings and practical skylights. The apartment also includes two bathrooms—one on each floor—and a convenient anteroom. A cellar and a parking space add to the appeal of this property. For those with a green thumb, the building offers a small shared plot of land where each apartment has its own section for a garden.
Apartment in Tiarno di Sopra
Tiarno di Sopra, Trentino-Alto Adige
In the heart of the Trentino mountains, in the charming village of Tiarno di Sopra, there was a charming apartment located on the first floor of a small building with only two residential units. It was renovated in 2010, when it was chosen to start a new life. Looking out the window, you could admire the roofs of the village and the imposing peaks of the mountains. Its location made it the ideal refuge, with shops, schools and services just a few steps away, while the nearby Lake Ledro and the trails of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park encouraged outdoor adventures. Once you crossed the threshold, a warm glow greeted anyone who entered. The living area, with the open kitchen and the spacious living room, became the beating heart of the house, a place of sharing and relaxation. Natural light filtered generously through the windows, caressing the furnishings with soft shadows. The sleeping area offered rest and tranquility: a large and bright double bedroom and a second room, perfect for guests or as a creative studio. The bathroom, with a window and a deep tub, offered moments of quiet and refreshment. But the real treasure of this house was on the ground floor: a large cellar, once used to store fine wines and tools for mountain excursions. A precious corner, ready to guard new dreams and new stories. Whoever crossed that threshold immediately felt the warmth of a lived-in and loved home. Perhaps, within those walls, the perfect place to begin a new chapter of life was hidden. Perhaps, that place was waiting for you.
House in Lodrone-Darzo
Lodrone-Darzo, Trentino-Alto Adige
My name is Achille, I am an elegant Siamese with some experience in comfy cushions and sunny windows. Today I tell you about my exploration of my possible future residence... a house of our own, or almost, in Lodrone. As soon as I arrived, I immediately noticed one important thing: independent. It means that no one above me makes any disturbing noises while I sleep. Already a plus. But the real wonder? Three levels of territory to explore. And I, modestly, am an expert explorer. On the ground floor, a windowed tavern with a coiled ceiling: a suitable place to chase filtering sunlight and take long naps. There are two cellars - one, I am told, could become a laundry room. I can already imagine warm clothes to roll in! There is also a garage, useful if my humans want to park their cars... or leave an empty box there for me, of course. I walk up to the first floor, where I am greeted by an open living room-kitchen area. Here there is an Olle stove. Do you know what that means? A corner that is always warm in winter, perfect for snuggling up. There is also a comfortable room, a bathroom (for humans, of course) and a staircase that invites you to go up again. So up I go. On the attic floor I find my true oasis: a double bedroom with a built-in wardrobe (great hiding place), a single room that I could claim all my own, and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Not that I love water, but seeing my humans relaxed...meoh relaxes me too. Above is a rough attic, yet to be fixed up. It could become my secret palace. The house is sunny all day, it's in the centre, but in a quiet area. There's Lake Idro nearby (nice to look at, not to get wet!) and Madonna di Campiglio for my humans' winter trips. And for me... lots of houses to visit, who knows, maybe I'll find some good old lady to give me some kibble, and meadows and woods to hunt in, and if I'm lucky....a nice girlfriend, maybe a long-haired one...meaohhhh In conclusion, if you're looking for a home for your family of four (plus a feline, of course), this is perfect. Sun, silence, space and secret corners: approved by me, Achilles.
Villa in Valle
Valle, Trentino-Alto Adige
Chiara and Matteo had never imagined themselves truly far from the city. She, an architect with a studio in the historic center of Trento; he, an environmental engineer engaged in projects between innovation and sustainability. Their life flowed between appointments, construction sites and evenings in an apartment that was now too small for them. Then a new life arrived — their first child — and with him, a new desire: to take root, to have space, silence, a horizon. Thus began the search for a different home. They wanted it close to the city, but immersed in nature; a place where they could reconcile work and family, where they could breathe. After many visits and some disappointment, they found it: a detached house in Ravina di Trento, right on the slopes of Monte Bondone, nestled between the woods and the sky. The house is still unfinished: a blank sheet of paper, to be written by four hands. They can decide everything. Maybe they will make it into a single large apartment on two floors, bright and open to the view and perhaps with a large mezzanine. Or they will create two units with a small independent annex, perfect for hosting their parents — who live far away, outside of Trentino — whenever they come to visit them. Let's not forget the garage, 150 square meters available also for the collection of Vespas that Matteo is immensely proud of. But what won them over was the view. From the terrace and the large windows you can dominate the entire plain of the Adige valley, which opens up wide and bright before their eyes. It is a spectacle that changes with the seasons, with the hours, with the weather. And every time, it leaves you breathless. At the beginning they were not used to so much silence. To so much greenery. But now they could not do without it. The forest that borders their property has become part of their daily life. Chiara dreams of designing a sustainable and beautiful space, tailor-made for their family. Matteo, on the other hand, already has in mind a small Golden Retriever breeding farm, a desire he has cultivated for years. Today they look ahead with serenity. They know that they have not simply bought a house. They found a place to build their future, step by step. A place that speaks of nature, love and roots. Chiara and Matteo are two fictitious names that you can replace with yours as soon as you cross the threshold of this property you will understand that you will never want to leave.
Villa in Bondone
Bondone, Trento
We discovered Bagolino, this town with a funny name, almost by chance, driven by the desire for a peaceful holiday full of authentic beauty. This charming village, nestled in the Brescia mountains, near Lake Idro and the Ponte Caffaro nature reserve, immediately won us over with its breathtaking views, unspoilt nature and the peace that reigns everywhere. It is the ideal destination for those seeking an oasis far from the chaos, but with all the comforts at their fingertips. We rented a villa very close to the lake, in the hamlet of Ponte Caffaro, for two weeks, without imagining that we would fall in love with it to the point of wanting to buy it. It is a practically new property, ready to be lived in, where you immediately feel at home upon entering. Enclosed by a well-tended hedge, it offers a private garden that gives a feeling of exclusivity and serenity. The porphyry patio completely surrounds the villa, creating a perfect convivial area with a barbecue area, relaxation spaces and a beautiful swimming pool where our children spent many happy hours. The interior is simply impeccable. Furnished with modern, minimalist and chic taste, all in elegant shades of white and cream, it conveys freshness and refinement. On the ground floor, we are welcomed by a large, bright kitchen with double access to the patio and swimming pool: perfect for cooking together and then eating outdoors. The spacious living room with light-coloured flooring is the heart of the house, where we shared games, laughter and moments of true relaxation. The four double bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, offer maximum comfort and are also ideal for hosting friends or family. The villa also has an independent first floor, a separate apartment with exposed beams, a living area, kitchenette, one double bedroom, one bedroom with three beds and a bathroom. This area proved perfect for the grandparents, who were able to enjoy their privacy while remaining close by. We didn't think we would find such a special place, or such a perfect home. But now that we have experienced it, we don't want to leave. This villa, just a few minutes from Lake Idro, is much more than a holiday home: it is a dream that we want to turn into reality.
Apartment in Ischia
Ischia, Trentino-Alto Adige
It's a hot August day, and the sun is already shining high over Trento when I hop on my bike. The morning air is still pleasantly cool, and the city's quiet streets seem to gently lead me toward a little adventure. The final destination is a special house in Ischia, a quiet hamlet of Pergine Valsugana. But first, a regenerating stop is a must: Lake Caldonazzo. Pedaling along the valley is a pure pleasure. Fields flow by on either side, mountains frame the horizon, and the thought of immersing myself in the cool waters of the lake makes me forget all my fatigue. Arriving in Caldonazzo, I can't resist: I leave my bike in the shade of a tree and dive in. The water is clear, cool, invigorating. A moment of absolute peace. There, floating and gazing at the clear sky, I think about how fortunate those are to live every day surrounded by such beauty. After a swim and a short break, I resume my journey. The road climbs a bit, but the view that opens up as I approach Ischia is worth every effort. And there it is, the house, a small, recently constructed building. What I will see is a splendid apartment occupying the top two floors, spread across two levels, completely open on all four sides, overlooking the landscape with discreet elegance. From every window, you can admire something different: the blue of the lake, the green of the picturesque village, the imposing mountains, or the meadows surrounding the area. The apartment's interior is still unfinished, and that's precisely its charm: it offers the freedom to choose every detail, to shape a space that fully reflects your taste and style. The fully customizable finishes allow you to create a unique atmosphere, modern or traditional, minimalist or warm. The building, composed of just three apartments, is refined and elegant. The stately elevator, the common areas embellished with porphyry slabs, and the attention to architectural details make it an exclusive and welcoming place. All around, the green meadows; above, the deep blue sky. The proximity to Pergine and Trento makes this home the ideal choice for those seeking tranquility without sacrificing the convenience of services. A refuge where you can experience every season to the fullest, in touch with nature and the authentic beauty of Trentino.
House in Chizzola
Chizzola, Trentino-Alto Adige
As soon as you walk through the gate, you have the feeling of having arrived in a special place. The garden, cared for with love, welcomes with its colors and scents: the soft grass under the steps, some late flowers that still resist autumn, and the silence broken only by the wind that slowly moves the branches. On the left, a covered patio invites you to imagine slow breakfasts in summer, family lunches, afternoons lying between a book and birdsong. The light envelops everything with a kindness that already makes you feel at home, in environments designed to be experienced as a single home, but so versatile as to leave room for different interpretations of living. A door opens and you enter the tavern: a warm, lived-in environment, with its large spaces, perfect for hosting, celebrating and sharing. Here you can smell the scent of conviviality, of time passing slower, of stories that come to life between laughter and a glass of wine. The services and the storage room complete this first floor of the house. Going up to the first floor, the light becomes the protagonist. The large and welcoming kitchen, dominated by a modern fireplace that furnishes and heats. There is a large terrace, which invites you to go out, to breathe the clean air, to look at the mountains in the distance. A small side balcony offers a more intimate, almost secret glimpse. The living room is a hug: bright, with a pellet stove that exudes a familiar warmth. Here too, a terrace offers light and breath. Further on, a single, quiet, peaceful room, perfect for retreating. And then a functional service bathroom and a large bathroom with window and bathtub: an invitation to take care of yourself, to stop, to listen. A staircase leads to the attic, where the wood becomes poetry. The three rooms are large, bright, each with its own balcony, truly large refuges where you can cultivate your passions. And finally, a modern, discreet, elegant bathroom, to complete this floor which smells of dreams, rest and silence. Outside, Ala di Trento embraces with its authentic atmosphere: between the charm of historic buildings, the proximity to the ski slopes, the paths of Monte Baldo, Lake Garda, cities like Rovereto and Verona, there is always something to discover. But inside this house... everything is already there. Every corner whispers calmly, every space welcomes. It's a house that lets itself be lived, slowly. It's a house waiting for you...come and meet her I'm sure you'll be fascinated.
